Website templates are readymade website designs or look n feel. Usually the source files will be provided so that they can be easily customized. Source files may include Photoshop (.psd), Fireworks (.png), Dreamweaver templates (.dwt), Flash (.fla) and fonts. You will need the specified software to edit the source files. 30 day trial versions are available for most software.

Skins and themes are also available for certain website applications e.g. Wordpress themes, Zen Cart themes, Joomla Templates, oscommerce installables with the new look etc.
